Myself, along with two other schoolmates, had to choose a world-known architect and conceptualize his or hers ideologies behind architecture. My group chose Santiago Calatrava, an architect and engineer. He is known for his use of white steel in his designs. Calatrava finds his inspiration in the living world around us. The way the body moves, or how a dove flies out of a set of hands. His architecture feels like it is alive just like the rest of us.
