The McCann House was my first experience with both Autocad and Sketchup. Since this project, my skills have increased dramatically in CAD as well as building envelope design. The McCann House is a three bedroom bungalow. It was a simple project that allowed me to get a good grasp on the programs that we use. I was able to comprehend Autocad and Sketchup with relative ease and have significantly enhanced my skills since then. The McCann House is also the same house that, along with my classmates, built from the sub-floor all the way up to the roof sheathing. Hands-on experience of how our drawings actually go together in real life.
