Studio on the Edge was a personal project with a unique constraint. The program was to build a space revolved around a passion very dear to my heart - snowboarding. For me, being in the mountains means weightlessness and the freedom to explore. This studio is perched on a steep, rocky hillside near Bragg Creek. It is comprised of two volumes separated by a glass enclosure. Each side represents strong, heavy mountains, while the middle exploits the "butterfly" feeling from standing on top of a snow covered mountain.
